Stephanie & Adam May 30th, 2009

Stephanie & Adam tied the knot at Aldersgate Methodist Church and headed over to Cambridge Golf Club for a fantastic wedding reception. Here is their wedding story!


Elizabeth composed this photograph beautifully as Stephanie started the day getting her makeup done.


Adam and the ring bearer had a little pep talk when they got to the church.




Stephanie was the Prom Queen at North Posey High School and Homecoming Queen at Purdue University. Oh- did we mention that she is also a neurologist? Adam is a pretty lucky guy!


I don't think he enjoyed getting his shirt tucked in.



Their friends were calling it the wedding of the Pilot and the Doctor. Adam flies for
an airline out of Indianapolis.


Stephanie's mother (left) helps her daughter get her dress on.






I think the ring bearer has a passion for airplanes to follow Adam in his future career!


While making sure that he was ready to go, a groomsman got Adam to burst out in laughter prior to heading to the ceremony.


Stephanie tries to control her tears as she sees her father for the first time before walking down the aisle.


I love this look from her dad!


It doesn't get any better than the flower girl chasing the ring bearer down the aisle.




They could not have looked happier!


A great moment when dad gave Stephanie away.




Elizabeth was inside for the "safe shot" while I went outside of the church to catch this.


The pilot and the doctor are married!!


The receiving line was extensive and very emotional.


See? Elizabeth nailed this moment.



Out on the 18th hole at Cambridge. We had a few moments...


...and then the rains came! Adam swooped Stephanie and got her inside and out of the rain.


Mr. & Mr's Tieken!! (That's an inside joke for those of us who were at the wedding)


The first dance...


...and a wonderful father-daughter dance.






Adam seems like such a kid at heart, if you can't tell from this photograph.


One of the guests got unexpectedly close...


... and Adam was taken a little off guard.


Their first sunset as husband and wife.


Doing his best "Top Gun" impression, Adam and the guys sang "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'"


He nailed it and got a well deserved hug.
