Katie & Adam July 12th, 2008

Katie and Adam were married in Morganfield, Kentucky on July 12th, 2008 in a
wonderful ceremony at St. Ann's Church. There were so many great moments
throughout the day and it was hard to figure out which to put on the blog!
Elizabeth and I had decided before we heard from Katie last year that we were not going to shoot a wedding that day because it was our son's birthday. Katie was very determined that she wanted us and continued to email us. She happened to mention that the ceremony was later in the day (7p.m.) and we figured out I can spend the daytime with our oldest on his birthday and still photograph their wedding.
Just as a note, we had his party on Monday evening and, for the middle of July, was
gorgeous weather, high 70's, and a great party so that worked out wonderfully.
The wedding was terrific and I was thrilled that I was able to do it. Katie was so thankful, she must have mentioned to her friends a dozen times how happy she was that I was photographing the wedding and how she didn't want anyone else!
How is that for making us feel special? Katie and Adam, the feeling is mutual! Congratulations!
