Kim & Ken April 18th, 2009

Kim and the girls started off early getting their hair done...

...while Ken and a few of the guys went for an early morning run through St. Charles.

Kim's sister Arianne touching up her makeup.

The guys returned from the run and fortunately the rain stopped shortly afterwards.

Ken checks out the scene in St. Charles.

Many of you may recognize the bridesmaid at the top of the photograph, helping Kim with her vail. Yep, that is Elizabeth- my wife and, for Kim's wedding, a bridesmaid.
We have been friends with Kim for more than eight years and were honored that she wanted Elizabeth to be in the wedding and for me to photograph it!

The Beautiful bride!

These two were absolutely adorable all day!

i
The look on Ken's face when he saw Kim for the first time is priceless.

A very touching moment as Kim's dad gave her one last hug before giving her away.

Love it!

Our buddy John is a huge Chicago sports fan and the Bulls were playing during the ceremony. Kim knows now that he was checking the score on his phone.

I' not sure if it was planned but Ken gave Kim a kiss on the cheek for their first kiss...

...and everyone, including the pastor, got a kick out if it!

The rain held off after the ceremony and were able to take advantage of the classic cobblestone streets that St. Charles is known for.

We were able to convince a local business to allow Kim and Ken to use their second floor balcony for a fun portrait.

The happy couple enters the reception...

... to a rousing ovation!

Arianne waits for her speech as she watches Brian, the best man, address the crowd at The Foundry Art Centre.

The first dance.

The Foundry had a second level, which gave me the opportunity for some great angles for dancing, including this dip!

I told you they were cute!

Kim surprised her parents with an anniversary dance and I just love the look on her face as she watched them together.

Elizabeth loves being behind the camera. Um, not so much in front of it!

The last dance of their wonderful evening.
